There's a lot of factors in it, including whatever our terms are here, which right now are very poor and have to be improved. From an expense standpoint, we have the worst stadium deal in the league.~ Kevin Payne, DC United's CEO
We know the DC United stadium situation isn’t getting any better anytime soon but at least they’re being blunt about trying to fix their current lease with RFK Stadium.

The three remaining World Cup qualifying game locations have been announced today by the USSF. Chicago, Salt Lake City and Washington DC all will host the final three games of qualifying. DC United won their 12th club trophy last night in the 2008 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup with their 2-1 defeat of the USL-1 Charleston Battery at RFK Stadium.
