Both the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps got some MLS action yesterday, the first for the Timbers. Each did fairly well in their preseason MLS debuts too. The 2010 Hermann Trophy finalists were announced on Friday. Two of the three are playing in this weekend’s College Cup final four.
