Should Have Gotten Cherry Coke

Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, I am currently on the road, in Austin, Texas visiting the lady friend of mine. She is in class right now, so it means I have ample time to find some news and talk about it. I have a couple teams that I hope to get previewed by the end…[continue reading]

People Move and I am Keeping Up with It

Alright, that was a bad tag line but here is the latest in the MLS off season player movement. A few moves in the past week. And apparently a few more on the way as far as a DP spot for a team or two. I will have information on that when it comes my…[continue reading]

I got a couple more people updated, which was nice to have. I will possibly update the draft pick and that madness soon too. So here…[continue reading]

MLS shows up in CONCACAF Cup

A great showing last night for the MLS. Both Houston and DC advance in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.  Houston used the home side wisely and scored a two goal win to push ahead 2-1 on goals. DC won their game 3-2 and scored 7 goals over all in their two game series. Again, this is…[continue reading]

2006 MLS Salaries

I always love it when the Washington Post releases information regarding the MLS and what players make per season. It adds to the fire of how poorly some players are getting paid to play and how over priced some are. Just some quick notes about what I have gathered from this: Highest Paid: Juan Fransisco…[continue reading]

A lot of moves taking place in the coming day or so due to deadlines and what not. I will try my best to keep tabs on them and give an update throughout the day if I can. Updated items will be bold faced when I get them. If you notice any names and moves…[continue reading]

Ching Talks about Loss

For one I was totally surprised to see that Houston Dynamo forward Brain Ching not appear in the line up last week against Punteranes. In his blog (linked above) he talks about the trip and how his health is. Fitness was an issue with Ching as well as most of the club I would assume…[continue reading]

CONCACAF Champions Update

Houston dropped it’s first game 1-0 today in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. From what it appears the Dynamo looked really out of this game from the start. Puntarenas getting multiple chances at net, even getting a PK at one point. Houston was slowed down by the fact that Eddie Robinson was red carded. Also, keeper…[continue reading]
