The 2015 SuperDraft is posed to be a pretty interesting one. For one thing, the Generation adidas class will be tiny, like maybe four guys once it is all said and done. But the league has done well to lock up several seniors before the Combine even kicks off.

Today the league announced the signing of eight standout seniors that will be in the SuperDraft. Some decent names on the list include Notre Dame midfielder Nick Besler (younger brother to Matt). Oregon State forward Khiry Shelton is another big name on the list, he scored 10 goals and added in 12 assists in 2014.

A total of five players signed by MLS earned NSCAA All-America honors in 2014: Fatai Alashe (Michigan State), Nick Besler (Notre Dame), Boyd Okwuonu(UNC), Khiry Shelton (Oregon State) and Andy Thoma (University of Washington).

Site Note:

Unlike in years past, I will not be doing three or four rounds of Mock Drafts for the SuperDraft. The interest for this draft just isn’t as high as it normally is for me and my time is more limited now.
