Sometimes simple is better.
Orlando City is set to become the 21st MLS franchise in 2015 and their new look has been revealed. A simple, yet elegant crest that shows the face of a lion inside a golden sun with the words Orlando City below it.
Again, simple and elegant. I personally love this logo and am pleased that Orlando didn’t try to do too much with their new look. They kept true to what they stated when they were awarded the MLS expansion tag, that they would keep the lion and the purple.
Some won’t like this logo but that is okay. Logos over time can grow on people and I’m sure this one will in that case. But for now, I’m down with this one. Well done Orlando, well done.
