I mentioned earlier today how I had two jersey reviews to do, click here to see the US away kit review. Now it is time for another one.

Soccerloco sent me the new Spain home jersey to view for the upcoming World Cup. The defending champions kit is a beautiful adidas kit that is simple and fits perfectly. I love the rich red and gold colors used in this kit. Spain fans will also love seeing the gold star above their crest as well as the badge indicating that they are the defending champions on the right side of the chest.

One thing I’ve always loved about adidas jerseys is how most of the time they go simple and it works. We see in MLS that sometimes they go a little bit above and beyond where they need to go but with country jerseys like Spain, they hold back and stick with the traditional elements that just work.

This kit doesn’t need anything special to it other than the badges and stars to indicate how Spain dominated the World Cup last time around in South Africa. Plus, the fit in this kit is perfect like one would expect out of an adidas kit.

Thanks to the good folks at Soccerloco for sending over the new kit to help with this review. Just so you know, they’re offering free shipping on all World Cup jerseys and match balls.
