- Miami Expansion, Miami Stadium, MLS Expansion
The first pictures of David Beckham’s planned stadium in Miami have been released by the Miami Herald today.
The 25,000-seater venue, set to be situated at the Port of Miami, will include a restaurant and a nightclub in an open concourse, as well as a world-class sporting arena.
The apparent wow factor of these renderings are certainly there. If anything, this could be yet another jewel in MLS, right up there with Sporting Park in Kansas City and Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
I urge you to read the Herald article on this whole stadium project. While these renderings are special and fun to look at, Beckham and his group still have a long way to go to get shovels in the ground and MLS to officially award them an actual expansion bid.
