- 2014 Generation adidas, 2014 MLS SuperDraft, Features
Things should begin to ramp up for MLS teams in the coming days as the SuperDraft is right around the corner. Last week MLS announced the signing of four Generation adidas players to this year’s draft pool. Those four players included: Andre Blake (GK, University of Connecticut), Marlo Hairston (MF, University of Louisville), Eric Miller, (D, Creighton University) and Ntokozo “Schillo” Tshuma (F, University of Maryland).
Sources tell me that the league should announce at least two more to that class, likely by the end of Tuesday.
California defender Christian Dean is already confirmed as one of those GA signings. He tweeted out yesterday afternoon that he had signed a deal with the league and then made sure to wins some fans over.

Smart tweet Christian, smart tweet.
The second player that should be announced with Dean is Wisconsin defender A.J. Cochran.
The GA class could get as large as seven players once the SuperDraft rolls around as I’m told the league has made offers to Cal defender Steve Birnbaum as well as UConn forward Cyle Larin.
The next couple of days should be interesting as we see the final MLS Combine rosters get announced with these GA signings.
