It is now time to make things official in Orlando.
Orlando City Soccer Club has confirmed what we already know. They’ll be the next MLS expansion club, the league’s 21st club.
Orlando City SC revealed today that two major announcements in the club’s quest to become the next Major League Soccer (MLS) expansion club will be made on Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19.
The first event will likely involve a sponsor of some sort while the second day will easily be the big expansion announcement (H/T to the tweet below for that). Here are those details:
Monday, Nov. 18th Details:
Location: Orlando Health Heart Institute (1222 Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32806)
2 p.m. Press Conference Begins
*Open to media
Tuesday, Nov. 19th Details:
Location: Cheyenne Saloon (128 W Church Street, Orlando, FL, 32801)
5 p.m. Festivities on Church Street begin
6 p.m. Program begins
*Open to the public
Orlando City confirms that they will be announced as an MLS expansion franchise on Nov. 19. at Cheyenne Saloon.

Orlando City less than a month ago received approval to build their new, soccer-specific stadium that will seat 18,000.
