The biggest was in the Colorado-Montreal game were rookies Dillon Powers and Deshorn Brown played a massive part in the Rapids’ 4-3 win at Saputo Stadium. Powers had a goal and an assist on the day, adding to his Rookie of the Year candidacy in a big way. Brown only played 16 minutes but his goal was a big one.

Elsewhere, Dallas rookie Walker Zimmerman scored his second goal of the season in Philadelphia to help keep the Hoops level with the Union on the day.
