It seems as though things are slowly getting back to normal. Major League Soccer had a fairly regular slate of games this weekend, which meant the Fantasy Manager game was back to it’s normal self.

Saying all of that, the weekend came and went and by the end of it I was left with a 64 point weekend (four got subtracted due to me using one extra transfer). Given how the weekend was going for most people and that the highest total was in the low 90s, I’ll take this weekend for sure after the tough couple of weeks my squad has had.

First up, the idea to make Will Johnson a captain this week over Graham Zusi paid off. Eight points doubled to 16 is always a good thing. But now I’m wishing I had done the captain band with Rodney Wallace’ 17 points. Oh well.

It was a good thing those two from Portland, plus Mike Magee and Federico Higuain had solid numbers this weekend or else this would have been a rather pathetic weekend in this game for me.

How did your squad do this weekend? Did things get a little more back to normal for you too? Let’s hear about it.
