For the second straight week, the main crop of rookies from this year’s draft and Homegrown signings are starting to consistently earn the full 90 minutes in games. Eight rookies went the full distance this week but two for New England did it in a big win over the LA Galaxy.

Andrew Farrell and Scott Caldwell both played a big part in the 5-0 win on Sunday against LA. They out shined LA’s rookies on the day as Cochrane and Zardes struggled along with the rest of their team. Farrell has been a huge part of the Revs’ defense this season that has only given up nine goals so far through 13 games.

Elsewhere, Jason Johnson earned his first full start for the Houston Dynamo. Those minutes will be big for him later this year when the Dynamo enter the CCL competition in the fall.

Lastly, there was one rookie goalscorer on the day. Toronto Homegrown Jonathan Osorio scored his third goal of the season in a 1-1 draw against Philadelphia on Saturday.

Here is how the rest of the rookies did in Week 14.
