You have to love the first week that sees two clubs play twice. In some places it was double the points and in other places it was a bit of a let down. Still, overall this week was much more improved over the last few as my squad WVH AC brought in a cool 86 points in Week 8.

I had four players that played the double this week with each of them bringing in double digit points.

My gambles in formation are still a work in progress though as both of my other strikers not named Thierry Henry were disappointing this weekend with just two points apiece.

Elsewhere, I’m starting to reconsider having FC Dallas speedy midfielder Jackson in the group too. While he is great on the field for FC Dallas his point totals are hit or miss in this game.

Still, I shouldn’t complain too much. I bested the week’s average by 25 points. I shouldn’t have to make too many moves for next week as only Seattle is off and currently I don’t have any Sounders on my squad. I’m thinking of moving one of the forwards out and one of my midfielders out. We’ll see how it goes when I decide to do that.

How did you squad do in Week 8? Let’s hear it in the comments below.
