Week 7 was another tough week for the league rookies. Only eight players saw action on the field but five of them did go the full 90 minutes. One rookie made his debut while another scored a game winner.

Colorado continues to be the place where rookies shine in 2013. Injuries may have a ton do to with that but both Dillon Powers and Deshorn Brown are making their case for the Rookie of the Year award so far. Each have been gobbling up minutes left and right this season.

Brown scored the game winner against Chivas on the road last Saturday. It was his second goal of the season.

Elsewhere, Greg Cochrane made his professional debut for the LA Galaxy at FC Dallas. The rookie from Louisville went the full 90 in a heated contest. While early on he did well, the rookie faded late against the speed on the wings from FC Dallas.

Here is how the rest of the rookies did in Week 7.
