Week 6 in Major League Soccer was always bound to be a light week for some. With five clubs off for the week, the amount of play available for the league rookies out there was certainly diminished a good bit.

How much you ask? Only two rookies played the full 90 minutes in Week 6. The lowest so far of any week in 2013. In fact, just six rookies all together played in Week 6. No one scored, no one helped assist a goal either.

The big minutes you could claim were from two of the Homegrown players on the list. Toronto’s Jonathan Osorio got his first start of the season against FC Dallas in a 2-2 draw but was subbed out at halftime. On the flip side, London Woodberry was subbed on at halftime in the same game for defender George John. Woodberry’s extended minutes should be a good thing down the road for the young player as he showed he can handle the intense play in MLS.

Here is how the rest of the rookies did in Week 5.

Week 6 Minutes:

90 Erik Hurtado (Vancouver)
90 Dillon Powers (Colorado)
76 Deshorn Brown (Colorado)
