- 2013 MLS Season, 2013 Week 6, Features, MLS Fantasy Manager
Oh boy. Well, Week 6 in the MLS Fantasy Manager game was not meant to be for me. Just a mere 50 points is all I got out of the week. I must say things looked up after Friday night’s win for Sporting KC. I was near the top in the game for points on the week but once Saturday hit, things began to go down hill from there.
Naturally, the week I transfer Chris Wondolowski he scores. I knew it would happen too but there was little I could do about it. I made the move, gambled on Thierry Henry and came up on the short end of the stick. The same could be said about my other two strikers Darren Mattocks and Federico Higuain, neither one of them contributed much more as well.
It was a tough week with Montreal off. I had two Impact players on my bench due to their off week and I’d imagine my point totals would have been slightly better with them on it.
Ben Speas was a cheap gamble in my midfield as well that didn’t pan out. It also didn’t help that FC Dallas squandered away three points in Toronto late like they did and that Colorado blanked Real Salt Lake.
Still, it wasn’t all that bad. In nearly every league that I am in I moved up in the standings some. So I suppose there is some positive in all of that.
How did your squad do this week?
