- 2013 MLS Season, 2013 Week 1, Features, MLS Fantasy Manager
We’re back for another season of MLS Fantasy Manager. I contemplated long and hard at ding this again this season but in the end I couldn’t resist another go at it.
For a couple weeks I’ve been tweaking my roster and starting line up, even up to the last second. That last second switch came back to bite me in the ass though.
I made two switches on the last day, removing Robbie Keane and Federico Higuain for Chris Wondolowski and Will Bruin. An even swap on the transfer market in terms of salary numbers. The result, wasn’t as good as I had hoped for.
Defensively things weren’t bad and even in the midfield Eddie Gavin and Graham Zusi did their part. But up front was a big disappointment.
In total, 58 points on the weekend.
Good news is, there is another week ahead with some good matchups to get plenty of points. Transfers roll over this season so I may hold on to my lone transfer for the week and cash them in double later on. We’ll see.
How did your team do this week?
