Danny Mwanga is on the move yet again.

The former number one overall draft pick in 2010 is headed to his third MLS club. The Portland Timbers have acquired a first-round pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Mwanga.

The move opens the door for the Timbers to sign another striker too while it gives the Rapids some insurance while Edson Buddle is recovering from some knee issues.

Crazy to think that Mwanga is on the move again but honestly his time in Portland never really amounted to much. At a higher price than some players, he was bound to be on the trading block with all the moves that the Timbers were making this year. On the flip side, Colorado could be a good landing spot for him in the end as he could fit in to Oscar Pareja’s system better than he would have in Caleb Porter’s.

What do you make of this deal?
