- 2013 MLS SuperDraft, Generation adidas
The 2013 Generation adidas is beginning to round out. Four players have signed contracts while three others are pending. Nothing is official from the league however but from what I’ve been told the league is waiting on all seven to sign before they announce anything.
According to my sources the four signed are: Louisville centerback Andrew Farrell, Furman centerback Walker Zimmerman, Texas-based youth striker Kekuta Manneh and VCU forward J.J. Johnson.
It had been reported previously that Manneh had already signed.
Zimmerman isn’t a shocker as he’s been tweeting out for the last couple of days that he has signed with MLS.

That leaves Indiana forward Eriq Zavaleta, North Carolina midfielder Mikey Lopez, and Central Florida forward Deshorn Brown to sign.
Maryland forward Patrick Mullins was on the list to sign and was even offered a contract but has turned it down according to Steve Goff.

That is a big loss for the SuperDraft but a good thing for Maryland in 2013. His passing on MLS means he wasn’t offered a big offer – something that many have said would happen with future GA contracts. The league is trying to even out the money being offered to these GA players, especially given how more players are going the Homegrown route these days.
Should anyone else be added to the list (highly doubtful at this point), I’ll be sure to give another update on here about it. Same goes for when these become official from the league.
