- Eric Brunner, Trades
And another Portland Timber’s trade for the day. This is fun right?
The Houston Dynamo have acquired defender Eric Brunner from the Portland Timbers in exchange for allocation money.
Brunner, 26, has appeared in 84 games in six seasons in Major League Soccer. He made 13 appearances (10 starts) for the Timbers in 2012 and scored one goal. His season was limited due to injuries. The 26-year old Brunner should return next season healthy and given his age, he will be a good fit for this Dynamo team that has extra games once again on their schedule in the CCL.
With the expected loss of Andre Hainault (out of contract and not expect to re-sign), the Dynamo added solid depth in getting Brunner.
This is Portland’s third trade of the day. Earlier they sent Kosuke Kimura to New York and traded for defender Michael Harrington from Sporting KC. More deals are expected by this club, so stay tuned.
