- 2012 MLS Season, 2012 Week 30, Features, MLS Fantasy Manager
Man, a week after Thierry Henry majorly disappointed in the MLS Fantasy Manager game, the Frenchmen turned around and had one of the best performances with the New York Red Bulls. A nice one goal and two assist day against Toronto put out a big 21 points, or 42 in my case since captain points double.
Not bad, but sadly, he carried the team this week with that outburst.
I took a gamble this week and added Chris Rolfe, that proved to not pay out as much as I had hoped given his little hot streak. Defensively my squad also didn’t provide a major spark for a change as some teams struggled this week.
There are only a few more weeks left in the season in the Fantasy Manager game. I’d say this season hasn’t been too bad for me given how I’ve managed to actually keep my team going for a change.
How did your squad do this week? Are you still playing the game?
(Yes this is my shameless way of keeping myself involved in the Fantasy Manager, for those who haven’t seen these weekly updates, this is my way of pointing out my failures and triumphs as a Fantasy Manager. Hope you enjoy it, I take no credit in being any sort of fantasy soccer expert here.)
