- 2012 MLS Season, 2012 Week 25, Features, MLS Fantasy Manager
I’ll admit, I totally forgot to do anything with my Fantasy Manager lineup this week. I knew there were midweek games that would case the roster freeze to happen a day or two early but the busy day job stuff got in the way of me updating anything on my roster.
As you can see, I nearly paid for it.
I had every intention of dropping Thierry Henry and adding in a new striker but, again, I forgot. Henry ended up not in the Red Bulls lineup on Sunday against Sporting Kansas City and his spot was moved out by the game’s system in place of Conor Lade who did play for New York.
Ouch all around. Still, I ended the week on a respectable 62 points. Man, I wish I had gone with my gut and taken out Henry last Monday in place of Fredy Montero. That would have been very nice with this hat trick and one assist on Saturday.
How did your side fare this week? Any better than mine?
(Yes this is my shameless way of keeping myself involved in the Fantasy Manager, for those who haven’t seen these weekly updates, this is my way of pointing out my failures and triumphs as a Fantasy Manager. Hope you enjoy it, I take no credit in being any sort of fantasy soccer expert here.)
