2012 MLS Allocation Order (Updated August 7)

With the news that keeper Luis Robles signed with MLS, an updated Allocation order was put out today. The biggest reason why I decided to post it here is the news that the league recognized a new club that used their allocation spot earlier this year.

Since Robles was once on D.C. United’s “College Protected List,” his return to MLS requires him to go through the allocation rankings, where the New England Revolution hold the first choice.

Once Robles’ signing takes place I’ll updated the list again.

  1. New England Revolution
  2. Toronto FC
  3. Chivas USA
  4. San Jose Earthquakes
  5. DC United
  6. Portland Timbers
  7. Chicago Fire
  8. Columbus Crew
  9. FC Dallas
  10. New York Red Bulls
  11. Vancouver Whitecaps
  12. Seattle Sounders FC
  13. Sporting Kansas City
  14. Real Salt Lake
  15. Houston Dynamo
  16. LA Galaxy
  17. Montreal Impact (Eddie Johnson)
  18. Colorado Rapids (Kamini Hill)
  19. Philadelphia Union (Bakary Soumare)
