For my MLS Fantasy Manager team, WVH AC, it was another so-so week. The good was seeing points – even some big points – out of some defenders like Austin Berry of Chicago and Montreal’s Alessandro Nesta. The bad, not getting a big enough return out of the gamble of Robbie Keane. Naturally the one game I pick one of the big three from LA, they get blown out on the road.

Both Cooper and Keane gave me five points to push my team total to 46 points.

Going into the next round I will probably go back and get Chris Wondolowski. I have to think that he’ll get back to his goal scoring ways here soon. I also may try to move Kyle Beckerman as well – he hasn’t been giving out a ton of points lately either.

(Yes this is my shameless way of keeping myself involved in the Fantasy Manager, for those who haven’t seen these weekly updates, this is my way of pointing out my failures and triumphs as a Fantasy Manager. Hope you enjoy it, I take no credit in being any sort of fantasy soccer expert here.)
