This is another step in the right direction for D.C. United and one that will certainly help get their stadium situation sorted out in a hurry.
ESPN Soccer’s Marc Stein is reporting that the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers minority owners Erick Thohir and Jason Levien are set to become new co-owners of D.C. United along with current owner Will Chang. The deal is pending league approval and should be done next week according to the report.
First priority according to Thohir and Levien, a new stadium for the Black-and-Red. I like hearing that and I’m sure so do United fans.
