Last night’s six pack of games in Major League Soccer also meant it was an extra week/session/round in the MLS Fantasy Manager game.

Each team got three transfers for the short week, which meant you needed to use them wisely. I thought I did a decent job as I kind of made selections for the midweek and for the weekend in mind. I didn’t go for the full roster – which may have cost me some points up front – but in the end the 42 points on the night wasn’t too bad.

Naturally getting Chris Wondowloski back and scoring was a big help since he donned the captain band. With the busy weekend ahead for this group, hopefully I won’t have to use my one transfer. But we’ll see…I may still make a move or two on Friday before the roster freeze on the week.

(Yes this is my shameless way of keeping myself involved in the Fantasy Manager, for those who haven’t seen these weekly updates, this is my way of pointing out my failures and triumphs as a Fantasy Manager. Hope you enjoy it, I take no credit in being any sort of fantasy soccer expert here.)
