- 2012 MLS Season, Jon Busch
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for aggressively retrieving a ball in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time of the game at Sporting Kansas City on May 27.
Word is Busch slapped a ball kid. Yikes!
Busch will serve his suspension June 20 when the Earthquakes travel to face the Colorado Rapids.
Interesting that it took the MLS DC this long to do this suspension. Tough break for the Quakes.
