Week 9 was a solid one once again for my fantasy team, WVH AC. A decent 78 points put thanks to a few double-dips and a massive outburst by Chris Wondolowski. The Quakes’ leading man bagged a nice 19 points for the week by since he was the team captain it was a double of that for 38 points.

Again, Wondo was the big winner on the week. Justin Morrow also chipped in a solid 10 points on the week. Everything else was a solid few points here and there.

Much should hopefully be the same in Week 10 for my crew. It is another full week in the league that sees six clubs play in the midweek and then again on the weekend. It will be a tricky weekend with that due to some matchups like Seattle hosting Salt Lake and Vancouver playing at New England (I never like cross country trips for any club really).

This may be the one week that I only make one change to the lineup, I’ll probably take a gamble on brining Kenny Cooper back to the fold for Maicon Santos since Cooper and the Red Bulls have two games this week. Given how Thierry Henry is out, Cooper has to pick up the slack offensively for the Red Bulls.

(Yes this is my shameless way of keeping myself involved in the Fantasy Manager, for those who haven’t seen these weekly updates, this is my way of pointing out my failures and triumphs as a Fantasy Manager. Hope you enjoy it, I take no credit in being any sort of fantasy soccer expert here.)
