Montreal Impact To Retain Name When Joining MLS

The Montreal Impact are still months away from joining Major League Soccer but they won’t go through any crazy renaming like other clubs have done in the past. Instead, they’ll refresh their look with a new logo and new jerseys.

Both will be unveiled later this summer according to the Canadian Press.

The club also unveiled their ticket prices today for when they join MLS.

Impact fans will pay between $250 and $1,250 for seats, a slight change from the current range of $160 to $1,400. Current season-ticket holders get priority before tickets open to the general public Aug. 1.

While this may not be major news I think its great the Impact will remain the Impact. With the right new logo this will be a fun franchise to watch take shape in the coming months.
