- 2011 MLS Season, 2011 Week 4, Wednesday Preview
I’ll get to it rather quickly in this one. I’m starting to write more over at SBnation.com/soccer, so you may see fewer preview articles like this on here. I will have more on this week’s slate of games tomorrow in my weekly “What to Watch for” post. Expect that up sometime in the morning tomorrow.
I did want to get a short preview of tonight’s MLS game on here though. The New England Revolution travel to Vancouver to face the Whitecaps at Empire Field. It’s the league’s first midweek game of the season and it is one that should be pretty good.
The Revs hope to remain undefeated here as they’ve scrapped their way to five points on the season. Vancouver is looking to ride the momentum from their three-goal comeback draw against Kansas City from last Saturday. I still believe New England is a pretender here trying to come off as a contender, Vancouver should expose them in the back with their attack that has proven to be better than advertised so far this season with Eric Hassli, Camlio and Atiba Harris. I like the Whitecaps in a close battle tonight.
WVH Prediction: Vancouver 2, New England 1
