Proof SuperLiga Could Be Done?

While the official league stance is still “we’re reviewing our options” when it comes to the SuperLiga tournament. Yesterday’s schedule release should show that the tournament could definitely be on it’s way out. Look at the schedules of the potential participating clubs for this season. The Columbus Crew, the New York Red Bulls, the San…[continue reading]

The Twitter hashtag #MLSScheduleIsLateBecause went to the top of the worldwide hashtag rankings in only a matter of minutes today. People got creative. Some were good, others were eh, and mine were probably fairly lame! Oh yeah…[continue reading]

Kudos To Portland

I’ve mentioned before on here how the local ads the Portland Timbers are putting out are genius. I found this little slideshow over at Stumptown Footy (great Timbers blog btw) that shows off all the photos from those billboards that tower over the Rose City. Enjoy. Preseason Recaps: Expansion Teams Face MLS Tests

Both the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps got some MLS action yesterday, the first for the Timbers. Each did fairly well in their preseason MLS debuts too. The Timbers continued their unbeaten pre-season with a 1-1 draw against the LA Galaxy. The match was a physical one with players eager to prove their worth as rosters…[continue reading]

Where are they now: 2008 Dallas Roster

Forgive me if you already read this over at BigDSoccer.com, but I felt like pimping it here. Just hard to believe that the 2011 FC Dallas team is pretty much all of Schellas Hyndman and the current front office’s doing. Only three players remain from that 2008 team that Hyndman took over. Yup, SuperDraft picks…[continue reading]

What can I say I’m getting older and birthdays are hard to remember for my family members much less a blog on the internet. Anyways, I wanted to thank all of you…[continue reading]
