The worry over Major League Soccer not having a TV deal with Fox Soccer is over, at least for one more year. The two sides agreed on a 31-game contract, plus three exclusive MLS Cup Playoff matches including a Conference Final for the 2011 season.

The announcement also saw some schedule changes for several clubs.

  • Thank goodness. Without continued support like this from Fox, exposure of our own sports teams in our own country of America would be less. Hopefully, other networks major and minor will eventually compete for the rights to at least some of the games (like some networks did on a one off basis for when beckam moved to LA). Congrats Fox Soccer Channel!
