Tell me if you’ve ever seen something like this before. The game goes into a shootout and a keeper saves five in a row and scores the game-winning PK. That was just the day that D.C. United U-17 keeper Dakota Niedermeier had yesterday in the final of the 2010 SUM Cup. Niedermeier helped lead United to their second SUM Cup title in amazing fashion.

I think it should also be said that the RSL keeper Carson Elliot came up just as big down the stretch in the shoot out before Niedermeier got the best of him.

Hats off to both sides for their impressive run in the SUM Cup.
