Don’t be shocked if Major League Soccer is one of the first leagues in the world to do some testing with some goal-line technology. FIFA boss Sepp Blatter may be against it but don’t put it past the USSF to do some trail runs with something here.

I would absolutely be flabbergasted if MLS did anything without FIFA's complicit approval. There's a World Cup bid on the table.

    Aint happenin'.

Like I've said to quite a few people, FIFA had been trialing officials behind the nets in some leagues. After the Republic of Ireland vs France issue Mr. Blatter and FIFA decided to put that in place in all leagues after the World Cup. There was a vote prior to the tournament to decide whether or not to have them during and it was shot down because it hadn't been fully trialed.
