Cronin Being Traded To San Jose?

Sam Cronin could be moving to the West Coast.
Major League Soccer may be off on break but it appears most of the clubs are actively working on some summer deals. This one appears to be in the works between Toronto and San Jose as the Reds are about to send midfielder Sam Cronin to the Quakes.
No details about what Toronto would get in return for second overall pick in 2009. My guess would be some sort of allocation to make room for some moves the Reds will be making this summer. That makes sense to me.
Cronin going to San Jose would only help the Quakes out in the midfield. No doubt their last couple games before the World Cup break was a disaster compared to their four-game run just prior to it where they didn’t allow a single goal in. Adding someone like Cronin will sure up the defensive part of the midfield for them and allow guys like Bobby Convey to run a little more freely in the midfield.
Depending on what Toronto gets in return this could be a great deal for both sides.
