- Thierry Henry
We’ve heard Seattle. We’ve heard New York. Now it’s D.C. United’s turn to go on the Thierry Henry rumor wagon. Henry is looking to leave his contract with Spanish giants Barcelona due to a lack of playing time, making his move to Major League Soccer all the more possible.
Reports out of Europe today suggest Henry is catching interest from New York and now D.C. for a possible summer move. D.C. is a new addition to the Henry rumors but let’s face it all MLS clubs are interested in some form or another, there are just a small few that he’ll actually end up with in the end.
D.C. does sound like a logical place for Henry too.
In a way I have to say I like this move for both sides more than even him going to New York. What do you make of D.C.’s chances of grabbing Henry this summer? Hell it seems both need each other here so why not?
