  • Dynamo Stadium

Its a headline we’ve heard before but this time around its really happening. The Houston city council unanimously¬†approved a deal to help fund the Houston Dynamo stadium.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the city already has paid $15 million for the land just east of U.S. 59 downtown. The deal calls for Dynamo owners to pay an estimated $60 million in stadium construction costs.

The next step for the Dynamo, a date next Tuesday with the Harris County Commissioners Court. They now have to get this deal approved by the county.

One small step at a time but this deal is starting to sound real good for MLS fans in Houston.

awsome for my dynamo. For revolution, move the team to baltimore, or beckam buys it and moves it to new york. Hey anybody, whats going with the BC place, have renovations started, whats up with Timbers stadium too. Hopefully Houston will get their stadium, is it A plan in Downtown or b plan outside downtown. du nord said kansas city wizards stadium is in a very good part of town, is it true and has the final design been picked. As for the Union, how the season tickets doing and how about for the opener, 20,000 at least.
