No real shocker for anyone living in the Northeast right now. You can’t get anywhere at all and that’s what happened to Major League Soccer and the Player’s Union. Both sides were suppose to meet up this week and iron out the final details of a new CBA but the weather put a stopper to that.

The league just sent out a short presser about the matter:

NEW YORK (Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010) – Major League Soccer and the Major League Soccer Players Union today announced that they have agreed to continue to negotiate through February 25, as they work towards reaching a new collective bargaining agreement.  Negotiations scheduled for this week were postponed due to the snow storms along the Northeast Corridor.  Negotiations will continue over the next two weeks.

I’ll admit I thought something would get done this week but I still hold firm in my belief that a deal will be reached and there won’t be any work stoppages.
