- 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Generation adidas
We mentioned yesterday about a few players that could be close to signing a Generation adidas contract, well now it appears that they have according to SBI.
Oregon State striker Danny Mwanga, Virginia midfielder Tony Tchani, UCLA freshman midfielder Amobi Okugo, U.S. U-17 defender Zachary Herold and California striker Andrew Wiedeman have all agreed to Generation adidas deals with MLS.
The five players join Teal Bunbury, Blair Gavin, Dilly Duka and Jack McInerney as players who have signed Generation adidas contracts.
Ives also mentions that Central Florida goalkeeper Sean Johnson has also signed a deal.
There is still no word however on the two Wake Forest stars, Ike Opara and Corben Bone. From what I’ve been able to gather they have yet to finalize their deals with the league but they may be able to in the coming days, maybe as soon as Monday.
With this news look for another Mock Draft to come out later today. There will most definitely be some changes at the top of the draft.
