Staying with the two-a-day structure for the expansion draft lists, earlier in the day we looked at the Houston Dynamo now we turn our focus to the Kansas City Wizards.
KC is a fun team to figure out since they have such a young mix in their roster along with key veterans that would surely be snatched up by Philadelphia is left open.
| Protected | Available | Exempt |
| Davy Arnaud | Adam Cristman | Roger Espinoza |
| Matt Besler | Herculez Gomez | Chance Myers |
| Jimmy Conrad | Kevin Hartman | |
| Michael Harrington | Aaron Hohlbein | |
| Zoltan Hercegfalvi | Michael Kraus | |
| Santiago Hirsig | Eric Kronberg | |
| Jack Jewsbury | Jonathan Leathers | |
| Kei Kamara | Matt Marquess | |
| Claudio Lopez | Rauwshan McKenzie | |
| Lance Watson | Kurt Morsink | |
| Josh Wolff | Boris Pardo | |
| Kevin Souter | ||

Kamara will probably get protected even though he is out of contract. I kind of expect him to remain in KC as I’ve heard both sides want to reach an agreement on a new contract. Neither Espinoza or Myers will graduate from their GA contracts. We could see someone like Gomez or even Souter sneak in over Kamera if the Wizards figure out they won’t be able to re-sign him.
I am interested on Lopez though, do you protect him over someone like Kraus, Leathers or Hohlbein? He may be worth exposing because I don’t see Philly taking him due to his age and contract.
See anyone I missed on? Let’s hear it.
