Fire Sign Costa Rican Defender
After losing All-Star defender Bakery Soumare to France the Chicago Fire were looking for some defensive help to get them through the stretch run into the playoffs. Looks like they may have found their man as they sign Costa Rican defender David Myrie.
Myrie joins the Fire after playing for Liga Deportiva Alajuelense of Costa Rica last season.
The 21-year old competed for his country in the 2007 Under-20 World Cup and at the 2005 Under-17 World Cup.
