- Jesus Padilla, Yamith Cuesta
Chivas USA is working their roster right before the summer transfer window closes. They have announced the signing of defender Yamith Cuesta, a member of the Colombian under-20 national team, on loan from Colombian club Expreso Rojo.
Adding Cuesta meant placing Jim Curtain and Ante Razov on the disabled list.
The club looks add Mexican-America forward Jesus Padilla from sister club Chivas de Guadalajara. The 22-year old Padilla hasn’t made a big dent into the Chivas lineup and a move north to the US Chivas may be the cure the two clubs are hoping for.
Both additions at this point would be welcome for the club. Even with the win over New York this past weekend they haven’t been playing well on both ends of the field. Defensively it isn’t know how well Cuesta will be. I know if they get Padilla it will be a big boost to their offense. Having both Maykel Galindo and Padilla could be a tough one-two punch up top to stop.
