The last “Official Gossip” web page I knew about was in a Homer Simpson’s cartoon and it did not have a normal ending.

Dear Gossip--

You dont seem to know very much except for soccer. It has been proved by several scientists that H1N1 was not originated in Mexico, but somewhere else.

I'll let you guess.

Well shucks man, it did seem like quite the coinky-dink at first… given that he was in swine-flu land. But hey, I’d hate Mexico anyway. Not out of xenophobia, but because they don’t have a single player who’s not a total jackass.

If Lamps or Rio came back from some third world country with some bizarre illness I think you guys over there would get a little curious too.

Just one comment.

As I commented to the New York Times, ...

I am sorry to learn that Donovan tested H1N1 in the U.S. before his flight to Mexico city.

Which means that he very likely infected dozens of passengers on the plane, American Embassy officials, if they picked him up at the airport, employees, hotel guests, his own team and anyone else he came in contact with, plus 105,000 spectators.

sorry, its just the thought.
