- Walter Garcia
With a defense giving up too many goals to count, New York goes out and adds another defender in hopes to change things up a bit for the last couple months of the season. Today they add another defender in agreeing to terms with Argentine defender Walter Garcia, as he receives his P-1 visa and passes a physical. This all according to the New York Post’s Brian Lewis.
Lewis claims that the Garcia deal is only a three-month test drive. This is in effort to not go down the same road that the club did last year with Juan Pietravallo.
I’m all for this club trying to get better and at least this time they aren’t giving a full deal to some guy that could turn out to be a total waste of time and money on them, just like nearly every player they signed these last couple of years.
At this point though can New York fans trust Juan Carlos Osorio, Jeff Agoos and their staff for bringing in new talent?
