MLS = Big Brother?

It's the same thing as a coach would have gotten. Kreis was fined AND suspended twice last season for that. I think it's dumb, but it's consistent at least. Unlike the MLS ref's, haha.

Utterly ridiculous. This is a violation of his first amendment rights. Also, anyone could have written that. He could have his wife or kids (I have no idea if he has either, I’m just speculating) cover for him and say they logged on and wrote it. Unless the player says it outright on camera, or to the face of the official, they should not be fined. This is outrageous.

He wasn't on the field, he wasn't on the bench. Ching was watching on TV with the rest of us fans. In my opinion he was commenting as a fan , not a player. <br />

no 1st amendment rights, they are employees of MLS, not their teams, <br />
-MLS owns the contracts, so anything they do is held within the terms of them being employees of MLS first, their teams second.

And actually censoring what players and coaches say about the league in the first place is indeed a violation of the first amendment. It doesn't matter that they are employees of MLS. MLS shouldn't have that rule in the first place because it does, in fact, violate the rights given in the first amendment.

they aren't censoring, just fining, say what ever he wants, as long as he has the money to back it up<br />
