This is a good start for ESPN! The coverage commitment from ESPN seems like it will be better than previous years. Now they need to make sure they get good commentators to go with these guys, like Andy Gray or perhaps bring in a club coach from Europe who is out of work, but knows the players and the game. Just as long as we don’t get Smythe, Lalas, and Foudy I will be happy…they are incredibly annoying, and they don’t have any interesting insights. (But something tells me that is exactly what we will get)

ESPN has more stations than anybody else, most people have ESPN 1 & 2 and all those others. Plus as an ABC family they can also put the games there.

thank god there won’t be any more of the Onion Bag annoying guy, the dude is so freaking annoying and he makes the sport sound foreign and alien, get a brit, an english speaking one please with a clean accent. I prefer the vuzuvella to Smith.

i think fox sports would do so much better,or even CBS but ESPN wants everything. Just like CBS covers March Marcness. ESPN is holding back soccer, is a fact

Here is another ESPN policy that isn’t help spread the word:
we have a new ESPN Radio policy that mandates we can only provide or make available ESPN-contracted sports analysts for ESPN Radio affiliate stations
