On one hand you have a group that is clearly ready for expansion and has all the means to do so. And on the other hand does the league really want a third expansion team for 2011, from the USL no less. My advice for Montreal is wait til 2012, the opportunity will be there, you just have to wait an extra year. I have mixed feelings about this expansion news. Making USL teams into MLS teams and only adding crappy, unwanted MLS players to their rosters is not enhancing the quality of play in MLS; rather, it is making it regress.
