Another week in the books and time to see where things stand here. A decent amount of movement this week thanks to games not ending in a draw for once.

As always feel free to leave a comment if you agree or disagree with what you see.

Team Rank (Last Week) Record (W-L-T) Comments
(1) 7-2-3 24 pts. I was close to moving Chivas down but seeing how they lost the points to Chicago thanks to Terry Vaughn more than a loss of composure, I will give them the benefit of the doubt here.
(5) 5-2-3 18 pts. I honestly came real close to bumping the Dynamo all the way to the top. Their trashing of Toronto was impressive. Stuart Holden is making the locals forget that guy named DeRo.
(2) 5-1-6 21 pts. The win on Thursday should have moved them to the top, but the loss on Sunday really killed that win for a lot of people. I know they sat a bunch of starters but come on you don’t get spanked at home like that by one of the worst sides in the league.
(4) 4-2-5 17 pts. You could tell this club missed Osvaldo Alonso against Columbus.Big game with Chivas coming up though.
(8) 4-2-4 16 pts. Conor Casey is now the man that we should all be asking Bob Bradley to call up. He is this year’s Kenny Cooper.
(3) 3-2-7 16 pts. Defense seemed to revert back to their old habits of turning things off at the wrong time. Thankfully a date with New York is on the way this week.
(7) 4-4-4 16 pts. Wasted away some points away against the Galaxy. This club is still missing something for me and I can’t put a finger on it.
(9) 2-2-7 13 pts. A win and a draw in one week is good enough for me to move them up a spot. Thing is they are even more banged up now than they have been.
(6) 4-4-4 16 pts. Again, if they could sign a striker and possibly a central defender this summer we could see this club contend come this fall. I know this club is better than what we saw in Houston.
(12) 3-3-4 13 pts. Getting Taylor Twellman was obviously a big lift for this side. Now if they can only get their offense going for real here they could be real good.
(10) 3-6-2 11 pts. Some said this club would win the west this season. Right now they are only three points ahead of San Jose! Two of three on the road coming up just smells trouble for this side.
(11) 1-1-9 12 pts. Nine ties on the season is usually a number clubs get at the end of the season, not at the 11 game mark.
(14) 2-6-3 9 pts. Definitely much better from this side on Sunday but they still have a ways to go if they want to catch the likes of Chivas, Houston, Seattle and Colorado in the west.
(15) 2-7-2 8 pts. A win and a loss in this week wasn’t bad out of this side. Definitely the best soccer they’ve played in a while here.Cornell Glen could be the answer their offense needed after all.
(13) 2-7-3 9 pts. Just a matter of time before Juan Carlos Osorio gets the boot. Who receives the “vote of confidence” and doesn’t get canned these days?
