Let’s make that one-thirds the way through here now that we are 10 weeks into the season for most clubs. Only a select few have played less than 10 games but that is an unbalanced schedule for you. Not a whole lot of movement this week due to the amount of draws once again this past weekend. Chicago is inching closer to the top as are Houston too.

Team Rank (Last Week) Record (W-L-T) Comments
1 (1) 7-1-3 24 pts. Another draw makes me wonder if this club is starting to go on auto pilot here. Still 11 games in an this club still leads the way here this season. But it would be nice to see them get back on their winning ways here.
2 (2) 4-0-6 18 pts. The Fire make a strong case to return to the top of the rankings here but for now they remain a very strong two. Chris Rolfe continues to haunt New York, and a lot of other clubs.
3 (3) 3-1-7 16 pts. Another draw makes me still wonder a little bit about this club. Though if they can start reeling off some shutouts here I won’t worry so much.
4 (4) 4-2-4 16 pts. I really worry about this club without Oswaldo Alonso here but having Fredy Montero score once again has to give Sigi Schmid some hope here.
5 (5) 4-2-3 15 pts. Houston is really on a nice run here. While Chicago is knocking on Chivas’ door, I would think the Dynamo inching closer by the week to first place
6 (8) 4-2-4 16 pts. Toronto really looks like a strong playoff contender to me right now. More performances by Amado Guevara like last Saturday and this club could be pushing Chicago for first in the east.
7 (7) 4-4-3 15 pts. Played some strong soccer against Chivas on Saturday but that game was more about the ref in the middle than the 22 players on the field.
8 (6) 3-2-4 13 pts. I like this club but they continue to waste chances at home. Conor Casey is giving me thoughts about his national team potential this summer too.
9 (9) 1-2-6 9 pts. Bye week for the Crew came at a good time, should mean to get their key guys as healthy as possible here to build off their first win.
10 (10) 3-5-2 11 pts. Finally looked good on the road but still no scoring on the road makes me wonder about the mental state of this club.
11 (12) 1-1-8 11 pts. Still not winning games here. Then again still not losing games either.
12 (11) 2-3-4 10 pts. You think Steve Nicol wishes he got a striker at the start of the season?
13 (13) 2-6-3 9 pts. New York looked better on Sunday but after 11 games they still see themselves at the bottom of the standings in the east.
14 (15) 1-6-3 6 pts. Defensively things looked better on Saturday at Pizza Hut Park but offensively this club still lacks a punch.
15 (14) 1-6-2 5 pts. Some are calling for Frank Yallop to be on the hot seat, I’m slowly getting there too.

    Typo: Toronto has 16points.<br />

On another note… in your rookie of the year section, I'm surprised that Stefan Frei isn't on the list.
