• Cornell Glen, Player Signings

A possible return to Major League Soccer for Trindad and Tobago forward Cornell Glen. Loads of reports over the weekend suggest he will sign with the San Jose Earthquakes this week if all goes well.

All I can say is if the deal goes through this will be a big thing for the Quakes who have not seen a positive change in their attack all season. Once I get more details on this I will let you all know.

  • Kartik Krishnaiyer

In Cam Weaver the Quakes have a guy who scored goals in Europe and also was second in USL in goals a few years back, behind the incomparable and immortal Romario.
So they have a proven goal scorer. Recall last year Kamara couldn't do anything with the Quakes and was traded to the Dynamo and lit the world on fire.
San Jose's midfield is dysfunctional without Ronnie O'Brien and no typical MLS striker signing particularly of journeymen players like Glen is going to change much at Buck Shaw.
